World Hunger
October is our focus on World Hunger and our offering.  If we give through our Southern Baptist World Hunger program
there are no extra administrative costs.  100% of our gifts can be used to feed our hungry world.  We have some bread
banks available for you to save your money this month.  They will be in the foyer beginning this Sunday.  Some of you may
still have one at home from previous years.  You may also just give a gift using your special offering envelope. 
We will collect the banks on the last Sunday in October.

Country Cottage
We will be having a service for the residents at Country Cottage every 4th Sunday at 2:30pm.
We would love for some of you to join us and mingle with the residents. It will be in the foyer of the buiding
in back. We could use some volunteers to come early (2:15pm) and help residents to the area.

Soup Kitchen Project
Monday, October 10
We need volunteers to make large pots of soup/stew, cornbread and desserts.  We have been serving over
250 meals so we need LOTS OF FOOD!  Please email me or call the church office if you can help. 
We will need the food here at the church by 9:30am or you can bring it to the CCC by 10:30. 
We also need servers.  Thank you in advance for helping with this local project.
